We all fear being alone. Being a teenage girl in a Texas small town, Maddy finds herself isolated from her peers. Her appearance isn’t as cool as the other girls, and it’s hard for her to connect with others her age, especially the cute boys down at the local roller rink.
Maddy finds companionship with an adult man who connects with her in a moment of need. However, a boy closer to Maddy’s age soon enters the picture, causing the older man to feel the pangs of jealousy and anger. When he follows Maddy back to her home, the stage is set for a terrifying showdown inside Maddy’s dilapidated home.
“Slut” was written and directed by Chloe Okuno, and won the best student short film award at Screamfest 2014. If you are a fan of the slasher genre of horror movies like “Halloween” or “Scream”, “Slut” will provide you with a new twist on this sort of tale.
