What makes the perfect family? Is it having both a father and a mother? Is it having the right amount of brothers and sisters? What about owning a family pet?
That premise is given a macabre twist in this short film by director/writer Ron Oscar Sierra. With a running time of five minutes, “The Perfect Family” is set in a tranquil neighborhood that seems ideal for families. Two teenage girls are at home when a knock on the door is heard. A woman asks if the girls’ mother is home, and one answers, “She is now.”
